A Spy is typically a Sycophant who follows an exodus from a forum at Evil Admins command, and then covertly gathers information about who have moved over to the new message board. He sends the information about what they are posting back to Evil Admin who then bans those who dare challenge his/her authority. Needless to say, a Spy is universally despised, and difficult to find.
I have encountered several of these, and they are nothing more than scum.
The write up could use a little work i admit. |

But I like the concept. I have dealt with several. We call them Moles....

| I avoided the term Mole because i think moles a very cute animals, and im not about to defile thier good burrowing name on this kind of scum. |

| Spies are often useful tools for Powerhungry Forum leaders who happen to hate any forum that could jump up and likely protest against their power. They will use spies to grap important info and to reveal the names of the ones who defected. Those who live a double life on both the Leader's Forum and the other forum, are at high risk of being banned or ruined using this info. Once a spy gives this info Abusive mods and Evil Admins will usually ban them while ones without banning power will use their influence to turn the forum against the other forum. |

I've encountered one or two spies in my forum history
most of them, once they are revealed to be spies, usually retreat from the forum and never come back (from what I've seen anyway). |

I know for a fact there are spies lurking about my fourm as I forced quite a few people to jump ship from another. To keep them from gaining any useful information I keep most stuff I want out of the public eye on a board that is hidden from everyone except the people I trust.
