Hellof faggits,
did u missed me?
i no u guyz hav a hard time thinking up good ideas hear that's y. i read these on a diffrtnt bettr flame warrior site.
------------------------------------
'Tis But A Scratch:
Whether assaulted by cutting personal attacks, insightful refutations of his logic, or creative mockery, 'Tis But A Scratch replies with haughty indifference. "I'm not impressed," he taunts, proceeding to offer a blase critique of his opponent's efforts. He has seen worse, done better, and experienced more. Or so he says.
'Tis But A Scratch is an exhasperating opponent, goading his attacker on as limb after limb is hacked from his body. Experienced warriors are content to make their point and move on, ignoring 'Tis But A Scratch's cries for more.
WARNING: 'Tis But A Scratch is known to inhabit Swarm hives.
--------------------------------
^
hgahaha, Cheesus can u here mee calling. ask not for who the bell toolls it tollls rof u!
--------------------------------
Skirmisher:
Skirmisher fights to win battles, not wars. His assaults are vicious, but usually short lived. After striking into the heart of enemy territory, Skirmisher will abruptly fall back, retreat, or dissappear altogether.
Inexperienced warriors interpret this as a sign of weakness or defeat, but a more likely explanation is that Skirmisher has a life beyond the forum.
Veteran warriors often evolve into Skirmisher over time. Confident in their powers and abilities, they see no need for a long campaign towards an inevitably indefinite conclusion.
WARNING: Tireless Rebutter and Skirmisher are mortal enemies. It is unwise to get between them in battle.
-------------------------------------------------
srry if thessse hav alrdy been slisted guyz, i meen faggits, i jus dun kare cuz u cant do it write so it duznt mattr neway
-------------------------------------------------
Fly By Night:
Fly By Night is a pilot flying blindly through the darkness of the ether. And she carries bombs. She drops them onto random forums as she passes overhead. With her bombs exploding in the distance, Fly By Night continues on her merry way, giving little thought to the damage wrought on the ground below.
Fly By Night is detested by forum regulars, who must sort out the damage from an enemy they can neither anticipate nor engage. Occasionally, Fly By Night will drop gifts and candies onto the forum, simultaneously delighting and frustrating those members who would only be too happy to embrace her as a friend. Too many visits from Fly By Night can force a forum into a downward spiral of xenophobia.
NOTE: Fly By Night is an essential, if transient, member of all public forums. Her imposition of fresh ideas onto a stale dialogue is often the only thing protecting forum regulars from claustrophobic neurosis.
WARNING: Fly By Night may be the illicit identity of a forum regular.

Well, I don't think Alistair would attempt another stupid thing like this so soon after the last, so I'm guessing it's a copycat. Am I right? _________________ KILL IT WITH FIRE! |

Quite right, Slashco. That is an instructive point, I do not understand why you deleted it. Perhaps you realized how telling such a comment would be given my recent exchanges with this forum? Or was it a display of Craven, granted the quickly discovered fact that I have chosen to become a "pariah" on this forum?
My Dear irritus,
You have perfectly outlined this forum's greatest current problem. Inferior suggestions are preferenced over superior ones. I believe you will find, after giving it sufficient thought, that the only warriors who have already been "covered" are the ones illustrated here: http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/index.htm
| irritus wrote: |
Skirmisher is either The Demolisher or Kung-Fu Master, though there's not enough here to be decisive about which. |
Not really. Why do you grasp so to conclude that new warrior suggestions have already been covered?
| irritus wrote: |

Fly By Night sounds like a malicious Just Bored. |
Now you are stretching to the breaking point. In the first place, Just Bored is by definition unmalicious. Characterised by malaise, as Team Tuna Fish wrote. Beyond that, Just Bored is nothing more than Ennui with a sad little tack on the end to try to distinguish it into something new.
On the old guestbook there was a fairly extensive debate, involving Anarchy_Balsac and myself, about whether or not Fly By Night was the same as Lurker. Of course, it is not the same at all. Don't tell that to Anarchy_Balsac, though.
Oops, wasn't I just leaving? Oh yes, my pretties, I really must part with you soon. It is a shame. If I am able to come back, sometime in the future, I hope you will all have grown tall and strong. It is well to be cute and petulant, but we mustn't remain stagnant, after all.

I find your responces both evasive and puzzling. Evasive I'll address below. Puzzling I'll address now. As someone who has actually seen how I react to suggestions, I do not understand why you think my disapproval means anything. I'm debating the validity of these with you by bringing up my problems with them. I have agreed with every person who has explained why I was wrong.
Why in the hell would you speak to me as if I had no business disagreeing with you? As if my opinion mattered to making it onto the site? Have I ever deleted a suggestion? Do I have telepathic domination over Mike Reed? What evil have I done in stating my belief these were already suggested?
My only guess is you've wrongfully assumed I posted my problems in some sort of attempt to jab at you. This is not the case. Though we disagree often, I neither have a vendetta nor would I shoot down contributions simply to get back at someone. Hell, I added Slashco's definition of Big Bunny to the suggestion index in the middle of our fight, and I treat A_B's suggestions seriously (up until he switches into Reactionary-mode, and even then I return to seriousness when he does).
As for the evasiveness...

I recall you agreeing with me that the only person with any business judging or editing suggestions was Mike Reed. Should I find the quote?

I don't see a rebuttle. Then again, if I misunderstood the suggestion, your dumbed down writing style you adopted for w0nderbread so it wouldn't look like you is to blame.

Which is, of course, why I said like a malicious Just Bored. _________________

Oh Alistair you're back today too (slashco earlier today). Pity, I'm just heading off, but I had to say hi.
Fly by Night -- old guest book already.
*couple of cartwheels as I head off*
The old guest book crowd is coming back.
Hey have you guys (old crowd) heard from April, or has she signed already. There's only one person I would suspect fits the bill, but I don't think so. _________________ The important thing is knowing who owns the fence |

I deleted it because I thought it was unnecessary to point out here, but I still believe it's true. 'Tis But a Scratch, much like many warriors for that matter, can be quite powerful when backed up by a squad of Me Toos or Tag Teamers willing to agree with all his remarks. That's part of the problem with this forum IMO: the 'ruling clique' believe themselves undefeated, when in fact their flaming prowess as well as the enemy's ineptitude are self-fulfilling myths which they themselves perpetuate. Without an external, impartial authority to objectively decide the outcome, such flame wars are in fact meaningless.

I would welcome an independent voice in the forum. External, impartial, even an authority figure.
But one that was just that...what is the difference between old cronies and new ones? _________________

Well besides being a stupid cunt who makes sweep generalizations and relys on simply trying to piss the other side off, Alistair isn't so bad.
...you know I didn't even have a problem with her until the Super Crap incident. _________________

| I have found my cat asleep inside a closed chest of drawers. The little thing climbed up the back and dropped in on top of the hand towels. So cute. |

I am tempted to drown the forum in cat pictures but then irritus may kill me.
Perhaps I'll make it a WC thread instead. _________________

| I love cats precisely because they look cute but are intelligent and can become quite nasty when it suits them. Rabbits are also deceptively cute but are also surprisingly mean when provoked. |
