Things I like:

1. I like the color scheme, it's quite restful to my ancient eyes.

2. I like the new post indicators ( > ) that appears to the left of the forum title when there is a new post there.

Things I don't like:

1. Some of the flaming going on in some of the fora, but then again, I don't need to visit there or participate. I'm simply giving feedback.

2. Having to go all the way to the bottom of the page to post a new Topic.

I will probably add to this list as I wander through and discover new and amazing things about your eHome. I understand that not everything is for everyone, so hope you will take my comments here as they are meant, constructively. It's not my place to tell you how to run your forum. As I always tell others, if they don't like how I run things, they can go start their own and run it the way they want.

Yes I like the colour. In firefox and opera browsers it looks nice, though I had to use IE the other day briefly and the colour really sucked.

What can I say about the >
Boy, those guys over at phpBB are surely the coolest guys, what'll they think of next.

Yes some of the flaming isn't constructive, but not unexpected.

Just realized I don't like having to go all the way to the bottom of the page to post a new Topic, I'm lazy!

Post Reply is under the last message. Presumably the coders thought that might ensure people actually read the thread, before adding further pointless comments.

Somehow, I don't think that is working like it is suppose to.

I was not taking issue with Post Reply. It is probably in the best position possible. Please go back and read my original post for clarification. Wink

Ah, well I'm surprised, I must have mis-read it umpteen times.

That's alright, I wrote the darned thing and still wondered why I had posted it when you made your comment. I had to leave and revisit the topic a couple of times before I realized what was going on! Embarassed

It's my opinion that Mike Reed did that to encourage a general bad mood in this place. I know that over at TWC(irritus and Lord Cheesus' site) - where the Post New Topic and Post Reply are at the top and bottom of the threads and the forums, and you don't need to scroll down - I feel at peace, not hostile at all.

Here, I grow rather nasty. It's bizarre. I noticed that I almost immediately grew rather less peaceful after this forum returned from its "DEBUG MODE ERROR:%#$E%" death screen after a year of inaccessibility.
I think the green color is there for the same purpose.

It's on the cutting edge of hostility-brewing technology, and we are only here as unwitting(or...not-so-unwitting) test subjects in a massive, secret government study on human aggression.

Neon Vincent,

For some reason, when I read your Sig, I read the word ENEMIES as if it were ENEMAS! Rolling Eyes It seemed to make sense too but was just enough off that I had to read it again to make sure. Laughing
