This is the thread that got me here. I don't really have much to do with this forum, but was browsing it. It's ironic that a thread that was about the flame warriors site actually degenerated into a flame war.
The forum itself apparently started out with about 50 older teenager/college aged people who liked a relatively unknown anime. Then the anime airs on CN and boom, zillions of 12 year old girls and a few choice freaks.
What is funny is that the forumites label themselves, but I don't think all of these labels are perfectly accurate.

The Cast:
Machiavelli - new forum member who is easily angered and has a vendetta against user DJ Toboe.
Stray Pup - regular forum member who isn't afraid to speak out.
DJ Toboe - somewhat new member, a weird pedophille type who always looks for a chance to post pictures of his favorite character and anger Machiavelli.
AnoHito - crusty old vet with a short fuse.
Soul - member who jumps in over their head trying to pick a side.
As far as flame wars go, it's relatively mild. Still, the irony is amusing. What labels do you think more accurately describe these screwballs? |

I think most people correctly labeled themselves, except for the guy who clearly misunderstood Jekyl/Hyde.
DJ Toboe makes me wish there were a warrior named Fucktard Idiot, because...

Yeah the Grammer post had me saying "WTF". Also DJ Toboe is clearly a fanboy idiot. I bet he looks at that hideous cartoon porn of like, 12-year-old girls.
His arguments were so awful I'm amazed that he didn't get a worse ass-kicking than he did. Machiavelli seemed to be the only intelligent person on the thread.

Great, a bunch of roleplaying weirdos and anime fanboys. I stopped reading the thread before the furries appeared. :p
And yeah, that DJ Toboe guy... wow. I wouldn't want to run into him late at night. Or at any other time, for that matter. |

| I thought Machiavelli, Stray Pup, and AnoHito were all fairly intelligent. I find it amusing that many new members have higher post counts than crusty vet AH. And also that the thread may be locked, but the conflict is far from over. What a wanky place. |
