BTW, (look I figure you'll never know unless someone tells you) by Weekend Expert, I wasn't referring to those who become proficient at something, notably during their days off from work, but to those Imposters under the guise of a long time expert. The term, in my best guess is from Weak ended expert, but I don't know. I've only ever seen it used mid 90s, not long after there was a public explosion into the Internet joining certain groups and tried to fit in by being knowledgeable. Then again, I don't travel in those circles anymore.

Wrong. The ultimate tactic is to ignore somebody. Never respond to their posts. If an entire forum is fucked, you just ignore the entire forum, go find some people and have fun.

Nah, if only he had just ignored the forum, but he didn't did he. The ? decided to delete a heap of threads, with the common theme having been started by various members. It's a pity, as most of the threads during the "quiet" period were started by the louder members and the rest of the forum participated. If only the ? had been fair and deleted as many of his own posts as he deleted of the rest of the main long term members. Yes, only 10, yes only 10!!, posts of his own he'd deleted that day. However, he also answered a problem that had been bugging me for the weeks leading up to it, that being a steady small deletion of to the total post count, having calculated for spam and "other type" removal. Just 10 that day? I then had a good look, and wondered for a bit, the clues fell into place.
