So I kept getting some crap about an expired domain for this site recently. But now it's fine...? Not only that, stuff (not a lot, granted) was going on while I was gone, and I'm absolutely sure I put in the right URL at least once. I even tried to e-mail Fency and ask him what was up, but he didn't reply for whatever reason.
Am I going crazy? _________________ Everything that has transpired in this thread has done so according to my design.

Sorry about that Mly. I haven't checked my hotmail for over a week ... I've been pretty busy.
I know I sent you at one time, one of my other emails I favoured, but I think it's one that was suspended.
Yeah, the main alias domai wasn't renewed and expired at the same time the hosting server was being altered or something. _________________ The important thing is knowing who owns the fence |

Well, it seems like it's just you and me now, anyway. Maybe if I could find my synthetic female reproductive system we could repopulate, but I lost it. _________________ Everything that has transpired in this thread has done so according to my design.

Ah FX is about. A new member dropped by to say hi. Heck even a human like bot (or a very very happy person) indicated they went to the trouble to read the pope thread.
Thanks for the offer Mly, but when Mike gets around to upgrading my preferences, we'll have usergroups straight up, and lift those email and IP restrictions and once again the place should flourish. _________________ The important thing is knowing who owns the fence |

I remember when a few people were banned. I told you the place would die a slow death after that.
I didn't however, expect the spammers of death. _________________ -

Banning and deleting will often deal certain types of forums, a blow where the forum will ultimately never regain the traffic they once had. [eg The yahoo effect, in honour of Yahoo which deleted suddenly in the 90's many active groups, and a lot of good net history was lost forever]
The spam isn't nice, but at least of all it's been pinned back to 40 or so spam turds a day, a bit different to 350 a day which was just stupid. I reaslise that amount of spam a day would put off any active member.
Presently I'm trying radical steps to deter spam. _________________ The important thing is knowing who owns the fence |
