Got a few.

Peace Without Victory

Peace Without Victory is a moderator who only moderates after the second shot is fired. Apparently, he thinks the best way to keep everyone happy is to let luzers (like some of the older bronies at GTPlanet) have their way all the time, then act like everyone else is at fault when they try to defend themselves. When they finally shut down the conflict, victory is usually given to the agressors, but inconclusively and with very little or no damage to either side. Attempts to continue fighting for justice are usually met with some form of "Just get over it already". On forums with a high proportion of these moderators, it may be observed that your ticket to fame and fortune is to be as obnoxious as you can to everyone else, then nod and smile while others do the same to you. "Nice guys" usually get beat up pretty fast if they rock the ideological boat even a little (Peace Without Victory probably won't come to their aid), and anyone who tries to bring justice after one of these false victories is usually demonized or ignored.

Silent but Threadly

On some forums, it's customary to leave a post, or an edit comment, or some obvious evidence of editing, when a infraction is given. On others, the mods tend to say absolutely nothing of value or even leave the offending post completely untouched and say nothing of it elsewhere (except when making a snotty comment on a locked thread), making it nearly impossible for forum participants to learn from the mistakes of others. Thus, on the rare occasion where there is some evidence of moderator intervention, the victim tends to feel singled out, having no way of knowing whether anyone else has ever received the same treatment. I've got the bad end of this one on GTP, as many of the moderators there seem to be a combination of Peace Without Victory and Silent but Threadly.

Karma Houdini

Once, perhaps not too long ago, this guy did something bad, and I mean flagrantly bad. Maybe he spammed a thread to peices and started a war. Maybe he trolled hard enough to make Trollface himself jealous. Maybe he unloaded on someone with verbiage that should have earned him an instant ban. Maybe all of the above and more. Whatever he did, he never seemed to suffer any harm for it. There may have even been a moderator right there and closely monitoring the thread, but he never really seemed to notice Karma Houdini's blatant violation of the forum rules. No one really knows how long his frustrating immunity to consequences will last, but chances are you'll have to wait a loooooong time if you want to witness its end personally. He goes from moderately irritating to infinity plus one rage inducing when a Peace Without Victory is there to back up his original escape with some kind of Internet 5th Amendment. Occasionally, one of these guys will actually become a moderator despite his terrible record and (sometimes) affiliation with controversial subcultures (bronies, furries, etc.), handily offending the two people left on the forum who don't already hate him passionately.

War Horse/Royal Guard

Bronies are not your friends. Not at all. Pretty much all bronies claim to be loving and tolerant, but it seems that a fair few of them - that's these guys - are HIGHLY millitant in addition to being stupid. They love and tolerate you as long as you let them have their way, but if you ever try telling them to tone it down, "I'm going to love and tolerate you" becomes code for "**** YOU!" They'll enter threads in great numbers, posting ponies everywhere and making the place look like a kindergarten, then spam even more when asked to leave - while, of course, talking about love and tolerance as if they were actually an example of such. Often, months or years later, they'll claim they never trolled the thread, or even that they were justified in doing so because someone asked them to stop posting ponies. These have a tendency to become especially annoying Karma Houdinis, especially when Peace Without Victory is present.

Occasionally, you'll find one who only pipes up when someone else goes on the offensive and implies (or directly, correctly, states) that My Little Pony isn't really all that good, but is just as annoying afterward. That's pretty much just a subspecies of Fanboy, but you can call them Royal Guards if you like.

Peace without Victory - sounds like a mod who isn't much more than a Sycophant who would rather not be directly "involved" verbally, and instead makes their mark through censure.

Silent but Threadly - probably believes that people take the time to read the rules and easily interpret them in a similar fashion as any intelligent person would. They probably expect their members to obey without question, and more than likely feel that any action on their part, is probably self explanatory. However it's funny that rules and unspoken exceptions can be quite subjective to some.

Karma Houdini - I think could be someone how has been fortunate to be in a forgiving community ... or maybe that just extends as far as the mods. But some part of it sounds like an Untouchable.

The brony one ... I don't really understand the meme ... but some of it sounds like Coffee Klatch.

That could be it, and it's extremely annoying when they accuse you of lying for saying they have uinspoken rules... even though you got a massive infraction for something other sites with the exact same rules wouldn't bat an eye at. On GTPlanet, for example, "You will not post anything hateful or abusive" means "You will be politically correct to the nth degree". Using words like "retarded" and "spastic" (saying that some characters in a game move "at a spastic pace") as descriptors is worth a ten point infraction (thirty is a ban). Maybe. To this day, I might actually be the only user confirmed to get such a heavy penalty for a first offense - everyone else gets warned first or the post in question is left intact so there's no way to tell.

Maybe, but Coffee Klatch almost never posts in technical forums. War Horse may easily be a well loved and constructive member in his "other life". Also, their vapid takeovers of threads seem to have a malicious bent to them - it's not that they just want to chat with people, it's that THEY ARE GOING TO POST PONIES IN THIS FREAKING THREAD AND YOU ARE GOING TO LET THEM, OR ELSE, SO **** OFF YOU HATER.

Oh yes, I know the silent quiet types. I've been dealt an uneven hand many times, mostly due to my location being Australia and I can be fairly blunt and dismissive of patriotic rubbish. However in my case, they almost always have something to say (the last words don't mean quite as much when the member has been banned) afterwards as a rebuttal, so I guess that isn't really all that silent.

Heh Very Happy Yeah sounds like brony wants to push their "culture" onto you whether you like it or not in the same way Issues wields their interests about in a forum.

If anyone could photoshop or animate quite well, I'd imagine they'd have hours of fun annoying them in technical forums. "They shoot horses ... don't they?" I wonder if anyone has done "Godzilla Vs Lil pony" or put them in a first shooter video game. Heck a Counter Strike or Doom mod would be funny as hell, but I guess they'd be some copyright issue Sad

I once had an idea of making a game with the same theme as the movie Red Dawn, but with ponies instead of communists.

Posting screenshots from My Little Pony, often with unclever captions like "You mad?" or "I'm gonna love and tolerate the SHIT out of you." The latter promise is rarely kept.
