They might be a lynch mob at other times, but what I saw in the linked thread at M3Cents was hardly a lynch mob. The comments IMO, were pretty tame considering the subject raised.
Since that site deletes threads at the drop of a hat, here it is.

It was my response to the idea that there's a lynch mob. There may be cliquish behaviour through out other threads, but the thread put forward as evidence certainly wasn't typical of a lynch mob.
I've seen no real reason to continue investigating. Certainly there may be abuses by various mods, and though there might be various tactics to get them on the out, if a mod or admin is dug in too deep, there's little point continuing to battle and a different approach is required.
That seems a sad thing to point out about poor modship, but I've seen sites crumble to become nothing but a glorified pit of whatever, where either some vapid Big Bunny types make up the active membership or simply the forum is a post in the wilderness that some of the old timers drop by to leave a mark they've been past.
