if some of these have been used, forgive me:
1. Gimmick: this warrior could claim to be the spirit of Napoleon, or he could be a person who posts backwards (?you are how hi), or he can even claim to be God....either way, this warrior is a gimmick. More of a nuisance and an attention getter then a danger, only weaker, easily irritated warriors will fall before this one's might. 9 times out of 10 an Admin or Nanny will dispose of this warrior.
2. Ladies Man: No matter what the topic, now matter what the discussion, all this warrior seems to care about is posting about the latest "babe" he has slept with. He will usually go into too much detail in describing his conquests (much to warrior's like Weenie's chagrin/horror and to Evil Clown or Jerk's delight.) On top of that, this warrior seems to want nothing more then to flirt/date/meet/kiss/sleep with any female poster on the board. Again, more of a nuisance then a danger, he is usually squashed by a formidable warrior or an Admin.
3. Front runner: If it's popular, he likes it. It could be a particular sports team, movie, book, etc. However, at the slightest hint that something bad happens to whatever this liking is, this warrior will immediately launch into a verbal rant against it and detatch him or herself from this object and just move along to the next popular team, movie, etc. Is usually ignored by most warriors and passed off as harmless. Warning: Jerk, Evil Clown, Troller will usually goad Front runner into an arguement by insulting whatever thing it is that Front runner currently likes. |

Gimmick Hmmm I guess someone needs to make an appointment for them
Ladies Man - (your decription is a warrior which would not be too different to Prev) Umm you might need to think of a different label which truely embodies what you mean. Around here (in my locale), a Ladies Man or Stud, are blokes that have what the chickie babes want initially, (they may even have what really counts in the end too). They are choosey, so end up dating many women, but are not loud mouthed as such.
Your decription suggests blokes we'd call Sleezey or Sleeze bag, the description varies. Some are fellas that only appear to have what chickie babes want initially, and generally their relationships are very short. The cycle of flirting/dating/etc continues in the hope they'll meet someone genuinely interested on what's inside, despite the facade. Sleezey is most of the time, suffering from a form of relationship deprivation. Another form of Sleezey is a bloke who is more interested where his "brain" has travelled, where it's been and new places it can visit. The last version sounds like the sort of forum member you described.
Of course you'd want to find a less offensive name for a warrior than Sleezey etc, but Ladies Man would be an injustice to the guys who aren't sleeze.
Front Runner - Warrior who is amongst other things, is fickle. Anyhow, yes, there are those for whom it is important to always be on the winning/favourable side. Its strange/funny(?) watching them change their stance. _________________ The important thing is knowing who owns the fence |

Umm I wouldn't have said correcting. I'm just fleshing out your suggestions. I just suggest another label for one of the descriptions. I would not have picked Ladies Man to describe the type of forum member you described, but others may agree with you. Sausage Brain is a suggestion I thought of (yeah, I know it's a sad attempt, but i'm not that inventive), so many other people may dislike it. I'm sure you will think of a great label.
I enjoyed reading your warrior descriptions, but it will be Mike who will finally size up whether a new warrior addition is required. _________________ The important thing is knowing who owns the fence |
