Harrasser picks his victims carefully. Once he finds a warrior that has the temerity to disagree with him, he uses this as justification for any act he chooses. He picks on that person incessantly, often playing follow me and picking apart everything the victim posts. He does not necessarily contain his activities to the forum - strange phone calls and letters to the pickee are not uncommon. He will only be stopped by the legal authorities, but he does not concern himself with that, trusting on the timerous nature of his victims to cover up the fact what he is doing is illegal. He will not neccessarily quit the behavior after being arrested, continuing on and on on other forums with new victims. _________________ The Average Woman Would Rather Have Beauty Than Brains Because The Average Man Can See Better Than He Can Think |

Wow, that's a tough one, and Stalker is the term I'd use. I've never encountered once, or witnessed one, so it's hard to imagine such people exist. Warning; train of thought ahead.
So I must ask; is this truly a flame warrior? It sounds like someone using the internet as a stalking tool rather than someone who hangs out at a message board to misbehave. It raises the question; when does a person stop being a flame warrior? This is certainly an extreme case of Perv, but as I understand them Pervs keep to the internet, once they cross the line into reality... they become a Stalker. Bravo, tuna. _________________ BOOM!

I put Harasser here because he is not a stalker in the common use of the word - he is not doing this for sexual thrills, but rather to demolish an opponent. But, yes, I'll write up Stalker, he belongs too, and Mike says we can include all forum types. _________________ The Average Woman Would Rather Have Beauty Than Brains Because The Average Man Can See Better Than He Can Think |

Um, I actually suggested this one early on. I called it "Stalker".
I like your suggestion that this Warrior goes after his target outside of the forum though. Good get. _________________ There was a thirsty fisherman

BTW, Mike says that they don't all have to be warriors - we can put forum types on there too. For instance, Bliss Ninny is about as far as you can get from a real warrior. So if you know any just types, they're ok too. _________________ The Average Woman Would Rather Have Beauty Than Brains Because The Average Man Can See Better Than He Can Think |

Hmm good one, a one sided duelest, so peeved by another member they can resort to Real Life solutions. I think you could also include, those who get online to hastle someone they dislike in Real life, as well.
There are lots of reasons why someone might come under fire, just as there is in the "real world". A sibling to Harrasser, would be Moral Cop (a psycho harrasser) which I described early on. Somewhat long winded description though.
MCops. I have seen a few of them, seemingly harmless, though they are hard to recognise for a start. (Actually, you are more often than not, pick one out during email or private messaging, rather than in the forum itself)
