The Deposed Emperor was a former forum Moderator, who couldn't cut it, and now comes back only to stir the flames when there is a dispute between certain posters, and the Staff. Originally an Eagle Scout, when he was just a member of the group, he was elevated to the level of Moderator because he appeared to be capable of remaining dispassionate during any conflict.
However, almost as soon as he was given the power to moderate, he showed himself to be a real Jeckyl and Hyde, Ideologue, or just plain Jerk. He frequently used his powers in an attempt to silence any Warrior who did not agree with his Ideology, at the same time, ignoring, or even praising blatant TOS abuses by members whom he agreed with.
Of course, suddenly showing his true colours, he was quickly stripped of his power by ADMIN before the board completely exploded.
Taking the action as a personal affront, the Deposed Emperor becomes a Cry Baby, Artful Dodger, Rebel Without a Clue, and often the Me-Too to a Big Dog in his weak, and frequently transparent attempts to disrupt the board and to create dissent against the staff.
He is generally quiet, and even appears to have actually left the board. But he's really secretly watching as a "Guest", waiting until a Warrior he favors (Usually a Big Dog, Compost, Jerk, etc) gets called on bad behaviour by one of the Mods. Then he's right in the middle of the fray, adding nothing, but stirring the flames.
