Tough Guy - Where Palooka only wants to pick cyber-fights, the Tough Guy seems to thirst for the real thing. Once enguaged in battle, Tough Guy displays an unhealthy desire for accomplishing physicaly what he cannot do rhetoricaly. When his arguments begin to peter out, Tough Guy will restort to taunts like"You wouldn't say that to my face!" or "I could lick you in a second you damn hippie!" , somehow suggesting that his opponents arguments lack conviction because they won't defend them against threats of physcial force. .
Unable to comprehend differences of opinion, Tough Guy sees any disagreement as an insult to his manhood and an offense that can only be rectified if the offending party is "man enough" to fight him. He may also resort to bragging about his physical prowess, listing his height, weight or ability to bench press great weight as validation for his opinions. He also may attempt to woo the forum with tales about how many street fights he's won, or other feats of machismo once he's put on the offensive.
Most warriors ignore Tough Guy altogether, but Troller or Evil Clown may egg him on just for fun, and may even set up "offical" locations and times for Tough Guy to show up for a fight. Ultimately though, Tough Guy's threats of physical confrontation ring hollow, because nobody really wants to fly cross country to get thier face pounded in by a total stranger over an argument as trivial as wether sub or dub anime is superior.
Naturaly, Tough Guy will claim victory when the other warriors fail to show up for the appointed beat-down, content to revell in his cyber-masculinity untill someone, usualy Nanny, grows weary and gives him the boot.
It's also just as likley that Tough Guy will abandon the forum for greener pastures on his own, lamenting that everyone there is a "pussy" |
