The Melophobe can hardly bear to be in the same thread let alone forum as those who would dare discuss music openly. The Melophobe express their indignation, as loudly as the rest of the forum will permit them to snicker and snipe, hesitating on the first sign of any trouble that might be coming their way as a consequence.
Thus some Melophobes naturally tend to gravitate to forums and such, which have no inclination to discuss music in any shape or form and so for the most part their phobic tendency is nothing but the occasional annoyance to surrounding netizens.
There are times when the Melophobe becomes a warrior to be feared, those who have happened upon the dark art of "Nanny whispering" - such that in no time, Nanny is sympathetic to their plight or the Melophobe can manifest a "plausible" case why musical discussions should not take place, despite the illogicality due to the nature of the forum.
As such, the typically nagging and obnoxious Melophobe sees absolutely no reason sound tracks, incidental music or backing music need be discussed in forums that deal primarily with television shows, documentaries, advertising clips, dvd productions, streaming videos, etc. They are apparently only too eager to focus only on ... everything else ... the style, manner, art, science, production ... the kitchen sink even, just no one dare mention "the music."
U-tube Nutter
One of the stranger and wide spread variants of Melophobe sprung into being with the availability and popularity of free video hosting services. The U-tube Nutter is perpetually worried that any of the obscure pieces of music they begrudgingly used in any of their videos will attract comments that ask what music it is and worse still, an answer will mean it will be discussed. Whether it is paranoia of Copyright Police [aka C.Cs] taking an interest or any of the members passing by might be more interested in the music than the mind dumbing heroics within the clip- no one else will really know. U-tube Nutter though is sure to check in on a most regular, if not hourly interval, just in case they need to delete any response that answers the mystery. Those sort of comments are "of course" deleted as they were off topic as it didn't really have anything to do with their clip. Almost certainly, the experienced U-tube Nutter tired of people emailing them and tracking their username down to other places on the web to hassle them about the music, will either have a thick skin and a well worn "excuse" they'll finally trot out once they are cornered; or they'll isolate their video username from any of their other activities on the web.
The Melophobe is typically a weak warrior, but in the "right" forum, they can coax even the gentlest warrior into a ball of fury, and create a lot of "public" discontent with the soft headed Nannies responsible for coddling the Melophobe.
