After reading Flamingo's latest half-assed, no-energy, and utterly pointless post I have to ask, "Who here is bored of her?" I'm not making a poll; that's too easy to rig. Just start your post with a bold-faced yes or no. If she gets more yes votes than no votes I'm banning all of her accounts. The accounts in question are of Flaming, Toolman, Black Lace, cosmicbrat, and CB. (I have my suspicions about a couple others but I am being cautious about them.)
Oh, and no sock puppets (or alternate accounts of any kind) are allowed in this thread even if they are not voting. If you post as an alt I'll announce who's alt it is in addition to shit-canning your vote.

Yes.
You know how I feel about useless members. You let something drag on too long and it only hurts the site rather than help it. Her 'contributions' (the few I've read over the past week while lurking) are little more than poorly constructed rants of Dominator-esque proportions.
Point being, she wants attention, and no matter how you react to her she'll somehow equate that to victory. If you ban her? She wins. If you argue with her? She wins. If you ignore her? She wins; well at least in her mind.
This has been going on way too long, way way too long. It's one thing to try and troll a site or prove a point, but to drag things out this long with no variation in tactics shows you're dealing with an irrational person who will never change the way they act or try to have a peaceful co-existence with other site members. I say, give her the boot, it's about fuckin' time.

I don't feel she's broke the rules. Or at least, not lately. She stopped double/triple/quad/Xinfinity posting. I can't think of anything else she's done. Not any rule breaking things at least.

After thinking about it, I realized you posed several issues in the topic. It isn't just "are you bored", but "should she be banned by votes", these are not the same issues. I'm pretty much bored by most of what is posted here, and Mly is way more boring IMO. So are a few others. Are you going to start banning people and socks based on the half dozen people that post here? That is what fueled my No.

That is really interesting. I'm afraid this topic will reveal that there really are only 6 real people posting here! If you booted Mly, Flamingo and all their socks, the place might be a ghost town.

I don't really know. But I find most everything here boring. Now and then somebody does add some real content, a new warrior type, some pithy anecdote or such, all much appreciated.
But this focus on boring, and it being the reason for banning accounts, well, it doesn't feel right. If you want ban somebody and all their dumb socks, just do it. I don't use sockpuppets, so it doesn't bother me.
I support banning all boring fucktards. But then it would be just you and me left, and what fun would that be? |

Hence my long absence.
However, there's boring and then there's boring, the latter of which I am sure encompasses everything from being a spambot to a fucktard, of which Flamingo is clearly both; and the latter I am also sure is what was meant in the initial post.
As for any activity decline as a result, if you are implying that you and another are the only worthwhile activity here and everyone else is a 'fucktard,' perhaps clearing the air will do this site a great deal of good, since you wouldn't be losing anything that your; apparently non-boring, presence couldn't do without.
At the very least you wouldn't have to be concerned about being bored and stricken retarded everytime you opened a thread with the offending poster present.

Precedent? Her previous account Sakanta got banned for doing the exact same thing she's doing now except it was a much larger-scale spamming campaign.
She's sucking the activity level dry by making everything about herself, and since she's boring it makes the members bored as well. The whole, "If you do anything it's obvious you're annoyed," bullshit doesn't fly with me. She writes the same posts ad nauseum with only a slight variation each time, trying to annoy people with her redundancy. To me she looks like forum cancer and, if the people will it, I am cutting her out. I don't care how it looks to you or her.
There's been a notable activity drop because of her whoring and that puts her on the chopping block. However, I've left the matter up to the other members to decide. As such there's not much sense in trying to argue with me about what I should do.

The issue isn't if she's boring. The issue is she's trying to make herself the center of attention by trolling the forum by way of redundancy. When she first arrived she posted the same redundant garbage in nearly every thread. She hasn't slowed down, she just makes new equally stupid sock puppets and try a slightly different idiotic and often cross-posted attack.
Take her chatty, idiot environmentalist/sorcerer account cosmicbrat for example. You know those insane gibberish posts she drops on us as him? She drops them on several forums at a time to get as many responses as she can. I'd imagine this is because she gets banned so frequently she never has a significant audience for very long. I originally ignored her because people were entertained by her moronic act. That's fine. Picking on trolls builds up a healthy forum skepticism. However it's gotten old, activity's dropping off whenever she posts, and so it's time for her to go.
Endlessly trying to antagonize people by posting redundant, sophomoric nonsense is spamming. If she wants to be the center of attention, let her start her own forum.

As far as I'm concerned, hammering the board with her redundant, limp-wristed trolling for attention constitutes spam. If she's hurting the board's activity I'm dumping her ass for it. However, it's difficult to tell in her case if she's boring people away or simply a big joke to everyone. Hence putting it to a vote which I am not a part of.

I change my vote to YES, based on these insane accusations that somehow I am teamed up with Mly. Anyone who thinks such skewed things is insane, and insane people do hurt a boards activity and enjoyment levels.
