This user refuses to learn how to use a search engine. Period. He will post inane questions, over and over, in the least appropriate places.

"Where can I find a picture of an apple?"
"Who wrote Atlas shrugged?"
"Who was that guy who played in that film?"
"Where can I find a recipe for spaghetti?"

are all common sorts of questions for JFGI, who can't complrehend that it would take much less time to just search for the answer than it does to post a question. When taken to task for their irrelevant questions and constand begging to be spoonfed, TFGI will come up with even more inane excuses...'My google broke', 'I'm at work' 'The computer is acting up', none of which actually explain why the user can go to a web forum but not a search engine. Will become pithy and whiney when confronted, JFGI isn't a long-lasting warrior, but can start lengthy piss-and-moan flames. They have even inspired forums just /for/ flaming people such as JFGI.

Something of a relative, the Poll Taker likes to poll large forums with questions about her daily life, or about things noone else in the forum would know about.

'My doctor says I need surgery, but I don't know, what do you think?"
'I want to knit a lap blanket, how many stitches should I cast on?'
'My child is mad at our teacher..any thoughts as to why?'
'My nose is running brown and yellow...is this bad?'
'Should I buy pepsi or sprite?'

Noone can figure out why this woman would post such questions, without any other details for the forum to go on, nor why she would trust the forum's opinion more than the doctor's, or why 400 people's opinion really matters concerning her soft drink choices...but she constantly and unswervingly demands input for all aspects of her daily life. When people don't offer solutions she likes, or asks for more details, she can become a screaming harpie

'I don't appreciate some people's barging in to my personal life and asking about my medical problems. I'm very sensitive about them and can't fathom why anyone would have the /right/ or the /gross, insensitive thoughtlessness/ to upset me like this at a very sensitive time'

leaving forum members reeling...did she not just ask...what were we supposed to say? She can be a cunning warrior, hiding under a mask of simple, three sentence 'what do y'all think?' posts and occasional links to cat pictures, but can become a screaming mess at the slightest wrong opinion or a carelessly worded PM.

Ugh
we had a poll taker at one of the forum's I was at
He literally did about 15 poll threads and was obnoxious and nasty in all of them until the admin just banned him.

I'm a member of a few specific craft-related forums, and these people have Taken Over. Once one gets going, inevitably fifty more will think it's ok and pile on, as well, quickly rendering a formerly useful forum into a happy shiny fluffy Q&A over tea session where nothing is ever really answered. All the questions also inevitably lead to off-topic rambles about people's daily lives and the state of their relative's health and what /they/ bought when they went grocery shopping.

And then you get List Glut
