I'm not sure if this would be considered a new Flame Warrior variant (it might fall under the category of Big Dog or possibly Android, but it's more a combination of the two and several others), but I figured I'd tell you anyway.
Some people (I'll leave it up to you to find a name) will take any argument, no matter how sound it may appear to be, and pick it apart piece by piece, and offer large amounts of evidence to the contrary of the target argument, effectively making the opponent look like an idiot. They will almost always also mix in various subtle yet sharp insults to add salt to the wound. These Flame Warriors are usually well liked and honored in the community for their strong fighting capabilities, even by those who are unlucky enough to be the butt of their assault.
If you want examples of this, I can find you some. In my community, Terrors Martyr and Djur frequently employ these tactics, although Alec is the most well known for what we call his "Two-Fisted Fury".

I've met a couple of these. Even if their own arguments are flawed, if you attempt to write something in your defense they will often become Tireless Rebutter. Definitely people with too much time on their hands.

Yep, sounds like a meticulous Big Dog, with a portion of Tiny Yapper thrown in for good measure.

I'd say it's more like Tireless Rebutter than anything else - just a really effective Tireless Rebutter. Smile

Heh heh heh, usually this is my typical tactic to contradictory arguments that are worthwhile. I usually don't throw in the insults unless the person has pissed me off in some way.

It's an interesting suggestion, but it might be too similar to other warriors. Most notably Big Dog and as teamtunafish pointed out, a rather well-knowledgeable Tireless Rebutter.
