Interferer may seem like Peace Maker* at first glance. However, his tactic of 'peacemaking' involves jumping into a thread and shouting "let this die already!", trying to get the last word. The members such as Bliss Ninny, Nanny and those tired of the war will chirp in and defend Intereferer, telling everyone to 'calm down' and/or 'take it to PM'. Although the war usually ends soon afterwards, the participants are pissed, especially those who have good arguments and the latecomers. Jumping right now seems rude and stupid, so what needs to be said is remained silent. Interferer is usually never appreciated and given the cold treatment for a few days to come by the participants.

*I've noticed that Mike took down Peacemaker. Damn.

I don't think this is the same as The Wrapper, but could you differenciate between the two? They are similar, but my gut tells me they're not the same thing.

They're not exactly the same, no. While Wrapoer targets OT posts, Interferer just tries to end a flame war by shouting "STOP IT!" "Let it die!""You've proven your point!""take it to PM!" etc.

This might not be a particularily exciting addition, but I think it is original. Maybe it just needs a more fleshed out description.

Ugh. I hate pissants like that who think any disagreement that gets tense is pointless. Like if it can't be carried out while pleasently eating scones and drinking tea together is too barbaric. Our ancestors drank scalding beverages together so they could blind one another and clog their windpipe with a hard, shortbread cookie!

That said, I'd suggest adding they are a sympathetic ally of Chicken Little / The Gloom.

The description of Wrapper is generalised (note "they see" as off topic), and yeah, there would be plenty of reasons to call for thread to be put to an end. eg it has derailed or got ugly or etc.

However calling for the tread to die after it has well and truely run it's length is different. It is more of a mercy call.

For the most part though, irritus described Mindbender, which covers a number of different sub classes.

I'm a little unclear here, this sounds almost like what I've seen a lot of Diplomats doing, no?

Diplomat is a would-be mediator. Someone who shows up, thinking they can stop the fighting by trying to organize everyone into peaceful exchanges of ideas.

Please make an account when you anonymously harass other members. Maybe something in a nice Nom De Guerre (I don't care I misspelled it). Perhaps "Evil Critic"?
