Seriously, what's with the people who never get avatars? I never understood that. I have had about 30 people join my boards and not select one. They post, but never add an avatar, signiture, nothing. It always makes the posts seem generic to me. Anyone else feel that way or am I being irrational?

Well, sometimes people just havent found the right avatar yet. Try making a generic initial avatar, and set it as the default for people. That way they will actually do something, like change it  |

I have trouble thinking up a signature, so on most boards I don't have one. But I do have an avatar.
You look plain without one.
Edit: Speaking of which, it seems to have disappeared. Can anyone else see it? |

I only use an avatar if I have one that is meaningful to me with relation to the particular board in question. In some ways, I suppose, I like people to just judge my posts by the written content and nothing else. Call me old fashioned.

Believe it or not, I also know some who don't have them because they don't know how, or they don't have a place to download an image, or some other technical excuse.
