PEDMIN

The pedmin is a type of admin with a weakness because his choice in nannies and untouchables are almost always female and underage, therefore one can easily believe that there is some kind of behind-the-scenes hanky panky going on, and Rebel leader and Rebel without a clue are ALWAYS quick to point this out and turn it into potential- and possibly lethal ammunition. Often an innocent admin can be mistaken for pedmin and hit by stray fire.

This one probably has been pointed out or whatever, but I've seen several cases similar to this one, so I fugured I'd mention it

Hm. Original and I've seen it happen. I guess we haven't grabbed up all the ideas yet.

Hmm, can we expand this a bit? I was once on a forum where the (male) admin essentially had a seraglio of female mods, although it never struck me as a warrior "type".

As a line of defense, Pedmin will add one adult and/or male nanny, will committ persistant attacks against perv (while often turning a blind eye to other TOS violators) to make himself look pure, will use his title or admin status to either hide behind or shoot down accusers, or will even flat out deny any wrongdoings (which may not work if Tech guru or propeller head sneak in the back and catch him red handed or if a sneaky imposter goes "under cover -- then pedmin will be done for completely) Often an innocent admin can be mistaken for pedmin and hit by stray fire.

Basically Pedmin is an admin but with a highly exploitable weakness

Keeps sounding more and more reasonable to me.

Hmmm... I never saw this suggestion before.

It's pretty disturbing, but I think it's a very good suggestion. I think it could be child/adolescent males as well as females who are Pedmin's targets.

I have never seen Pedmin in the wild, but I am sure it exists. Having seen the lengths of sycophancy and self-effacement to which people will stoop in order to be granted positions of power in message forums, and the bizarre hero-worship directed at pretty much all mods and admins, I shudder to think on Pedmin. :/

Basically Pedmin is just a scoundrel who uses his status to hit on other members. Some might be legal, and some might be underage. there's really no way to be sure. I view Pedmin as the forum equivilent of managers who go easier on good-looking female underlings.

I knew one of those, at Delphi Forums. I don't think his crew was underage, but he suddenly appointed about 20 female mods for no particular reason except to stroke his own vanity. This became his downfall, because of the inevitable rivalries and power struggles among his female sycophants, all of whom wanted to be his "favorite." Thankfully, the forum closed soon thereafter.
