Hello there,

I am currently a veteran consumer site forum member, just looking to venture a bit into other parts of the web. I wanted to share some of my forum experience as I feel they can relate to this topic, but don't want to do it all at once.

I needed to post something, so I don't get mistaken for a spam-bot or somthing sinister. Anyways I hope everyone has a happy st patricks day.

Cheers

Posting this topic as you did in Art of War would have almost automatically seen the whole thread deleted being mistaken as a bot.

Anyhow it's quiet and your email didn't come up as a spammer ... yet, so what the hay.

Welcome to the forum.

I've continued to read up on the many types of warriors listed on this site. I try to figure out which one (S) I fit under. Or other members I've encountered from previous forums.
In fairness I think all of us probably have characterics that fall under different warriors. I wonder if we had poll, and majority would wish they catergorized as Evilclown. I know I don't fit that one but certainly sounds like a cool character.

The toxicgranny reminds me of my cab driving days. Dealing with demanding senior citizens was no picnic. They could always play the "age card" on you, Same things with online. But they have their cool moments, watch a granny gave someone the finger is priceless. LOLOL

The worst kind of warrior, (if there one of these listed on here) is the one who is popular in the forum community, and get's away with bashing weaker members, especially newbies. Is there a type of warrior that covers "cyber bullies"/whiners. You know the type that if you dare oppose them, the other members will close rank on you, and , toss you to the lions (admins or addys).

I've read quite a few of these warrior types, and amazed it covers a lot of ground. The toxic granny, mentioned by a previous poster, the one who threatens to leave if they don't get the warm fuzzy from the group (I forget what this site titled them) but I've seen stunt pulled many times on forums to get sympathy. LOL. The grammarizm warrior!!. Now what would a forum be like without one of these. ROFL. You could probably write a sitcom about some of them.

Anyways, sorry for the longwinded rant, but didn't want to get mistaken as a spammer.

Cheers (where everyone knows your name)

Here's some more I've used on my3cents. The queen and her minions... Swashbukler pirate, Commando raids on forums, etc. I always loved the idea of 20 or so members join a forum at the same time, let one of them write a review, and if the "regulars" lynch mobbed him/her, the "commandos" would jump in to defend their comrade. Of course the regulars would probably cry "sock puppeturado" and the addys (admins) would delete the accts with out even doing an IP check. lolol

It's interesting seeing word sycophant used a lot on forums. On m3c we refer to the trollqueen kissups as "minions". I wonder if anyone will come close to 70,000 comments on this site combined with several others lolol.

Thanks for the followup madc. I 'm certain the senior members of this site would be able to see thru all the m3c trolls shananigans real fast. The "I'm leaving threads", run rampant on m3c.

You mean the "I'm never coming back!" ... "Okay, see you in a week" threads?

That is correct. Also there's the 'im leaving, because it's (member name or ) fault. (usually a member not in the elite circle of trust). The sycophants and me2's will lynchmob the member that supposed the whiner cried over.

Only members with clout (perhaps and in with the mods/admin) could pull this off. Given fair TOS, the evil clowns will eatem right up.

some suggestions: first register using a screen name that looks like capcha codes, like e48f5....second....write a whiny fastfood review complaining about something rediculous like "thefrench fries had too much salt" use caps and !!!!!''s .. I think you get the idea.

Anyways this will attact the "naysayers" who enjoy pouncing on these kind of reviews. Here are some of the members to look out for "Justice-4-all aka Justine4balls, "Venice09" (troll royal) littleshorty aka littleshitty/yaya/tata, tmnr8r aka troll8r, DebtorBasher aka troll queen with 70k comments, Oldtimer aka littlestewie(me2 troll), there's plenty more as you'll soon see.

Watch out for the TOS!!! try to hold off on any profanity... just some ideas, I'm not too familiar with your style of trolling,

Patience, simplicity and subtlety will be the key in ruffling their feathers. Let them think they're dealing with a noob.

If you have any further questions if and when you registers feel free to send PM's to madc or myself. Anyways goodluck!

we have found flying under the radar of the admin of m3c is pretty easy. also, when the minions have their copmments removed is priceless. the troll minions are easy to bait and easy to troll.

simple statements like:+41310 or anything like that sure gets them going.

41310 is the day one of the biggest trolls was banned, yet then was allowed to return. of all opur +'s, that is the one they refuse to copy.

+41310!!!!

madc ,, check this thread out. I think it is simular to your battles with venice. From a glance it looks as though lordcheesus is overpowering mastermind with words and such, but overall as mastermind mentions at the end of the thread that cheesus failed to follow his suggest about doing nothing... I dont think he was trying to win a debate with him lol...

OK looking over threads there the "+41310" seems like a means to pay another member a compliment.

As I read it, it comes off as "yeah I like what you say."

Maybe I'm missing something here.

the +4310 or +11 or whatever are bit tough to explain. I'll give it shot. You are right that usually the plus' are intent to compliment someone's post. Well it started out that way. with like+1 or +10 . It was sort of like one's own personal rating of a comment, But over time, they were used by mostly "me too" trolls egging members on (usually a negative comment towards OP),

It was me that started the randomized numbers like Fence +127 1/2, and so on, with the intent of throwing off their rhythm. (it's been a while since i've posted on m3c).. since then everyone posts random numbers like +5543 or 1123 etvc lol. so recently i suggested to madc to use numbers of some signifigance like the 41310,

Anyways, it's pretty silly, but it was interesting. it was like we were all communcating in morse code or something lolol, Strict TOS does strange things to the mind.

Ah thanks for the explanation. I can grasp what it is now. Old timer "appears" to be a good sport about it all.

His nemisis churro(notcharro) will be back from Germany soon. He's a great foil for supertroll I mean Oldtimer.

Old Timer (03/29/2012)
Everyone have their choices ready for their new cars?

"John and LS, the underlying issue is you never really know who you are dealing with when you post a comment to her. The mentally ill are so sketchy, then when they have multiple personalities what path do you follow? Hate and pity are so far apart, I hate no one, but I have deep pity for you Madc, very sad. "

Here's an example of one of oldtimer(aka supertroll) inflamatory comments, somewhat disguised as consuling two other members (as if they're victimes of madc posts)...I bolded the area where the insults were layered into this. Keep in mind this is just mere observation. Its one of his many attempts to get "me too' members to aid his attack.

Madc (madconsumer) can take it though. The ultimate tactic to ignore is not always the solution. There is certainly many options here without having to resort to breaking TOS. I don't give pat answers to any scenario. If she plays this right, Oldtimer and any supporters will look like dipshyt to other members. lol...

What type of warrior is the one who can easily endore a lynchmob for over 40+ comments and not even blink an eye, while the others evenually wear down. Great work mad (consumer) for flushing out the sitetrolls on this link attached.

I'm not sure as to which member you're referring to. But such a person would be a Tireless Rebutter but I think probably to some degree they would be a Stone Deaf and Tireless Rebutter combo.

I would say, Mad's game plan in that particular thread wasn't exactly good.

Opening in such a manner, is obviously very open to attack, as well appearing as a weak target to others. Not unless it was intended to bait a select few and lull them into a false sense of security. (In this instance, leading Old timer and sycophants astray by pretending the mentally ill comments had struck a nerve.)

The word "trolling" these days is also not exactly definitive, goading though would be.

What site is CB supposed to be? Seems like there is some sort of tie in.

So either you were/are there, or furnished that info to one of the "minions" to act and live vicariously through your m3c moniker.

Either MadC is caught out or someone has created a good Mimic who is privy to all sorts of tit bits.

I disagree,

They fell for the bait. Insults like mentality ill, idiot, getalife, are pretty common. only pussies attack in numbers. She stood up to the end.

Also the TOS and the fact that a couple of them were moderators made it that much more challenging. Even if madc made some mistakes, the moderators (slimjim) is not one to talk about ettiquette, a good moderator would have broke up the lynch mobs.

lynch mobs are for sissies.

once again madc, considering the TOS and the several members who were silenced last night (FMS full mod status). Slimjim is also an frontend admin.... and has used two sockpuppets in that thread. It's not all about fancy words, but getting under the TOS radar.

Complaints Board is M3c's biggest nightmare. You cry boohoo to the moddypoos. Alot of them like oldtimer (littlestewie) debtobasher (m3cqueenbee) and a few other post there, but there insults are lamo. Most of the toxic clique on m3c are pathological twoface liars, and rely heavily on KGB protection. They're easy to crush outside the TOS perimeter.
